Louise Dossett

I have always been creative. Like a lot of children growing up in the 60's& 70's I learnt to sew, knit and crochet which I have done on and off  since then.

Things changed for me in 2015 when I watched a program on TV for crochet animals, I think it was for dinosaurs and thought I would like to try that. That weekend armed with wool, crochet hook and the purchase of a book for crochet bears I made my first item. After that I was hooked. Now I make almost anything some of the latest creations haven't even been photographed yet including monsters for the boys (friendly of course).

I enjoy creating especially the making up as this is where they begin to gain a character all of their own.
Yarns are specifically selected by colour for dogs where I try to ensure that colours match as closely as possible the colouring of the animal being crocheted.

I am always on the lookout for something different and unique to crochet. I can easily loose myself in my crochet am never without it when travelling or at craft fairs.
